Bree Bylak

Documentary Team

Bree is a junior double majoring in journalism on the reporting track and communication arts with a focus in radio, TV, film at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She writes for the arts section at the Daily Cardinal and is also involved in University and student-produced theater on campus–you can see her in the student-produced musical “Ride the Cyclone” this February!

Bree chose to come to the UW-Madison because of the journalism program, the lakes surrounding the school and the great atmosphere of the city all year round. For Bree, Madison was the perfect mix of a college town and city life. She has moved around the midwest and lived  in five different states, but something about Wisconsinites has always resonated with her.

Bree loves lakes and tries to spend as much time near the water as she can. She is a huge sports fan, much in line with her competitive spirit, so you can catch her attending as many Badger hockey, football, volleyball and basketball games as she can. Other things Bree likes to do in Madison include going to local theater performances, attending comedy shows and visiting the Dane County Farmers Market in the fall.
